Well Dino finally turned-up and we headed off to Portsmouth and made the boat to Santander in plenty of time. Took the back roads down - really nice ride. Sometimes you forget how stunning rural England can be when you're on the right road, with no traffic and the sun is out. Why are we going abroad again?
Well Dino finally turned-up and we headed off to Portsmouth and made the boat to Santander in plenty of time. Took the back roads down - really nice ride. Sometimes you forget how stunning rural England can be when you're on the right road, with no traffic and the sun is out. Why are we going abroad again?
Our cabin is nice, Dino has the top bunk so I hope he's not a bed-wetter. It's a big old boat with a choice of bars. Lots of fellow bikers on board and some good banter.
So nice to be sitting here, beer in hand, away from the madness that is everyday life. Trips like these should be compulsory!
